Dropped Kerbs
L.M Homeworks Ltd hold their streetworks certification allowing them to operate on public car parks, footpaths, highways and properties.
L.M Homeworks Ltd are council approved contractors for the installation of dropped kerbs. We are on the council list for both North and West Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Leicestershire and Cambridgidshire
Apply to the council
If you would like to have a dropped kerb installed, firstly you need to get permission from your local council.

Once you have permission granted you will then be given a list of contractors who work for the council, this is where you can also see our company details, We can then take it from there.

Process
A Northants example of the processes below.
Firstly we will measure the area and provide you with an estimate before any work is completed.
We will then complete all safety checks for the designated area and apply for the licence from the council which is a fee of £305. The licence normally takes 3 weeks to be granted. Once we receive the licence we will be able to schedule the work in our diary.
Installing the dropped kerb
Whilst works are completed we will give the customer a scope of works and make sure all is fully understood before we begin. Making sure all property bounderies are as clean and tidy as possible and safety of pedestriand is monitured at all times.
